Holiday home rental in Cabrieres d'Avignon, Luberon, France
Imagine you arrive in this typically beautiful and peaceful small Provençal village with its pale honey coloured stone walls, winding streets and alleys, cypress trees and its usually stunningly blue skies
Chez Anna is in the villiage of Cabrieres d'Avignon, in the gorgeous Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon, only an hour's drive from Marseille aiport, less from Avignon train station, or 20 minutes from the motorway.
The house is a bit of a home-from-home. I have enjoyed putting it together for holidays for myself and hope visitors will like the more personal feeling of this house.
Cabrieres d'Avignon is on a gentle slope rising up from a wide valley, and faces the range of the Luberon Mountains. All around are cherry orchards, vineyards, olive groves, cedar forests and green hills. Imagine exploring the wonderfully various landscape where strolls or walks can be taken in every direction.
The Luberon Valley and beyond offer rich sources of beauty, interest and culture – as artists, writers and philosophers have discovered through the ages.
There are farmers’, antiques and brocante markets, cafes and restaurants in profusion, exhibitions, indoor and outdoor music, dance and theatre. For those seeking golf, riding, fishing, water sports etc., the local facilities are very good.
And to look after some of your creature comforts, the village baker, butcher, general stores, wine-makers, restaurants and post office are friendly and full of delicious local produce, wine and almost everything you need.
This 2 bed 2 bath holiday house for rental will suit visitors who are seeking a peaceful holiday, with wonderful walking and sightseeing. There are delightful cafes and restaurants in the vicinity and there is a great deal of music and theatre, and many sports.
